General Function :
The Electronic Technician will maintain all aspects of the electrical equipment throughout the plant, using a variety of tools and diagnostic equipment, in order to maintain all end-making and auxiliary equipment in the pant. The Electronic Technician will strive to achieve the optimum levels of safety, quality, efficiencies, spoilage and customer satisfaction. These activities are instrumental to both start-up and ongoing operations in driving results through a team based culture to achieve excellence. Will participate in all team meetings, pre-shift, functional (Safety, Quality, HR) and process (production equipment) teams. They will have working knowledge in lean manufacturing programs, diverse production responsibilities, overhauls, quality checks, housekeeping, forklift operation and technical troubleshooting. The Electronic Technician will work closely together with the Team Leader(s) and his/her crew team members, as well as working independently when required. Dependant on business demands, Electronic Technicians will work on the production line, relieve breaks and assist where skill level applies. They will be responsible for analyzing and reacting to basic electrical and electronic problems as they arise, coach other team members towards problem resolution when necessary. They will be responsible for maintaining Ardagh Group Combined Core Values, Operational Excellence, 5S and SCOPE. They are accountable for safety, quality and production in conjunction with its crew team members. They report directly to the Engineering Manager and have a dotted line to the Team Lead.
Essential Duties :
Maintain a safe working environment for all team members and equipment Working knowledge of 480V-3 phase systems, 220V and 110V systems. Run conduit, wiring, hook up disconnects, switches, push buttons, circuit panels, breakers, suppressers, transformers, motor starters, relays, timers, and motors. Manage and complete all work orders Read engineering drawings and schematics Maintain vision inspection system by modifying programs and servicing hardware Maintain plant PLC’s (modify programs), sensors Diagnose motors, replace gear motors Maintain proper lighting throughout plant which includes changing light bulbs, fixtures, and ballast. Troubleshoot electrical problems in all departments. Assist in general plant maintenance when necessary Network (LAN) maintenance Shall understand the Food Safety Policy, GMP’s, HACCP Principle and Food Safety Standard. Qualifications and Competencies :

Education and or Experience :
Working knowledge of NEC codes PLC Allen Bradley, SLC-5/04, ControlLogix, RSLogix, RSLinx 2-year electrical or electronic degree preferred 2 years of industrial experience
