Shop SafetyPrecision Machining TechnologyBasic Math and Basic Blueprint ReadingGeometric Dimensioning & TolerancingPrecision MeasurementBasic Shop MachineryComputer Numerical Control (CNC)

Responsibilities:

Report to work on time, ready to learn and accomplish tasksRegularly attend Manufacturing Training Program classes and OJTMeet all class assignment deadlines and standardsWork on the shop floor to learn required tasks, meeting leadership expectationsPerform general daily cleanup of work area

When and Where:

The Manufacturing Training Program is scheduled to begin in JuneIn-classroom learning will be 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Classroom training will be conducted at Penn United’s Carl E.

Jones Learning Institute, Cabot PAQualificationsQualifications:

We can only accept 10 people into our Summer program.

To be eligible for consideration:

Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalentMust successfully pass aptitude assessment and interviewMust have strong math skills and mechanical abilityA strong work ethic of dependability as demonstrated in regular attendance and punctualityMust have the ability to work any combination of daylight, afternoon, and/or midnight shifts after initial classroom training is completedMust be able to successfully pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
