3rd Shift Operator Tailored Bottling Solutions LLC 456 Acorn La, Downingtown, PA 19335 Job Overview The Operator is responsible for monitoring Tailored Bottling’s production processes, including operating manufacturing equipment and maintaining compliance with the company’s high standards for safety and quality. This role will be engaged in and understand initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture. Qualification & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) 1+ year of experience in a brewery, food, or manufacturing environment (knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP highly preferred) Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures Lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds repeatedly Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces Available to work 3rd shift Must have or be willing to obtain a forklift license Responsibilities & Skills Setup, Start-Up, Adjust, and Operation of Equipment; Proper Shutdown and Changeover as required by company standards and to minimize downtime, excluding sterilization, CIP, and process start-up Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to work alongside others collaboratively Experience with Microsoft Office (word and excel) Ability to read, interpret, and complete documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Organization skills Monitor, record, and evaluate equipment performance Knowledge of pneumatic systems, industrial electricity, mechanical power, steam generation, and sanitary process piping is preferred. On a daily basis, ensure Food and Human Safety are your number one priority and partner with the team to identify/eliminate risks and ensure compliance with all company, state, and federal regulations Responsible for operating equipment used in the preparation, mixing, processing, finishing, and packaging of products. Notify maintenance staff if/when there are complex adjustments or operational problems that need attention or maintenance outside of the standard operation of the equipment Use of raw materials in proper rotation (oldest first), recognize and report any signs of product tampering. Must be able to train fellow and new associates Assist the supervisor in proactively identifying problems and providing solutions Maintain cleanliness on the production line. Equipment and work areas must be kept organized, clean, and sanitary throughout the shift. End of shift requires the removal of any waste and garbage generated during the shift. Ensure proper care of equipment. Follow all safety procedures and participate in safety training. Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person. Report any injury or accident immediately to a supervisor and/or any unsafe condition. Comply with all GMP’s for food safety, quality, and legality Support all quality management systems, continuous improvement programs, food safety, employee safety, and preventative maintenance programs. Communicate effectively with other production operators and management Participate in PPE initiatives. Review completed process paperwork and ensure accurate expression Maintain and update shift report in response to production Other duties as assigned
