The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment. 1. Duties and responsibilities
- Assemble and test products
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
- Conduct quality control checks and inspections on products
- Assist in the setup production lines
- Maintain accurate records of production data.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
- Identify and report any issues or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Other duties and projects assigned. 2. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in a technical field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus 3.
Working conditions Climate controlled office areas, laboratory areas, production floor, and warehouse. Some work outdoors is possible. Some work at patient homes or facilities is possible. Homes and facilities are normally climate controlled, but homes can be nor non-climate controlled with high humidity, heat and dust. 4. Physical requirements Sitting for extended periods, walking or standing for periods within warehouse facilities, kneeling, stooping, bending. Lifting or carrying items, such as boxes of inventory or equipment components, with or without mechanical aids. The role may involve long hours, especially during periods of high demand or when addressing urgent issues. Awareness of safety protocols and practices to prevent accidents or injuries. Ability to travel by car or commercial flight as needed.
