Job Title:

SMD Operator (Surface Mount Device Operator)

Shift:

3rd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 12-hour shifts)

Pay:

$18/hour (Temp) — $19-$23/hour (Upon Hire)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable SMD Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for mounting electronic components onto circuit boards in a clean room environment. You must have excellent attention to detail, the ability to follow directions precisely, and strong communication skills. Prior experience in quality inspection or a related field is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Operate surface mount technology (SMT) machines to place components on circuit boards. Carefully follow work instructions, blueprints, and process guidelines. Perform visual inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of mounted components. Maintain a clean and organized workspace according to clean room standards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production issues or quality concerns. Follow all safety and operational procedures. Meet production and quality goals consistently.

Requirements:

High attention to detail and focus. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Prior experience with quality inspection or electronics manufacturing preferred. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Must be willing to work 3rd shift (12-hour shifts, 6 PM – 6 AM).
