Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for transporting and providing production areas with essential parts and materials. Perform housekeeping functions. Ability to train employees on processes and procedures. Maintain housekeeping and lean manufacturing standards. Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures. Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
Manufacturing experience a plus. Ability to recognize quality problems. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to operate in a self-directed environment and complete tasks on time and thoroughly as assigned. Ability to demonstrate operational decision as required, maintaining production levels. Ability to read and write.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards Must be able to stand for long periods of time, squat, bend, twist and turn as needed to perform the job. Must possess good manual and mechanical dexterity to perform job duties. Move and control reels of garden hose weighing up to 1200 pounds. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 100 times per shift.
