Biomanufacturing Technician Day shift/ 1 year of experience/ Memphis TN Job Description This vital role in the production of cutting-edge cellular therapies is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in scientific principles and hands-on experience or interest in cell culture techniques and aseptic processing. The position is set in a fast-paced, regulated environment focused on innovation and quality. Responsibilities Perform aseptic manufacturing activities and maintain required qualifications. Support production, formulation, and banking of cellular products in compliance with GMP and GDP standards. Assist in drafting GMP documentation including SOPs and batch records. Contribute to validation and continuous improvement efforts. Participate in raw material handling and cell culture operations. Maintain clean room standards and behaviors. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills Aseptic technique Laboratory skills Cell culture Microbiology Chemistry Biochemistry Associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific field strongly preferred High school diploma or equivalent required 0-1 year of experience in biotech or cell therapy (internship experience may be considered) Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with sterile technique and laboratory protocols is a plus Comfortable working in clean room environments with exposure to hazardous materials Proficient in algebraic math Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective written and verbal communication Professionalism and confidentiality are a must Work Environment You will be working in a GMP-compliant cleanroom, which requires wearing full personal protective equipment (PPE), following aseptic techniques and sterile procedures, and adhering to strict hygiene and contamination control protocols. The role involves exposure to biological materials, including handling hazardous and medical materials such as blood, tissues, and needles, as well as using specialized lab equipment in cell therapy and biotech manufacturing.
