Shifts Available:
Full-Time Cleanroom Tech (40 hrs/wk) Sun-Thurs 3pm-11:30pm
Job Summary:
Cleanroom technicians maintain critical areas of manufacturing/research facilities using specialized equipment and systematic cleaning processes. Maintenance of entryways and wipe-down areas leading into clean-room. Maintenance of clean-room floors using ULPA filtered clean-room vacuums and clean-room approved mopping techniques. Maintenance of clean-room walls and fixtures using clean-room approved wall mops or wipes. Removal and disposal of regulated waste and general trash. Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Essential Job Functions:
Wearing Cleanroom gown to prevent cross contamination Wiping down all working surfaces and door frames Detailing all machines and fixtures in the cleanroom when not in use Mopping floors with flat and dry mopping Vacuuming floors and working surfaces Removing trash, replacing liners in receptacles Providing day to day support to the production areas to ensure that the equipment is maintained Keeping work areas clean and organized Engage in management and operation of designated work areas Maintain compliance with all company policies and established procedures Maintain company standards and programs for safety and security Treat all co-workers with fairness, dignity, and respect Provide outstanding customer service Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners Excellent time-management skills Great communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Requirements:
Ability to traverse work site and transport equipment used for completing job functions Ability to position self to reach areas both below waist level to the floor and above their head Ability to effectively communicate with management and coworkers Ability to detect, observe, and inspect work area to identify potential opportunities and concerns. Ability to transport up to 50lbs through work site as needed Ability to handle exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and other potential irritants Must meet minimum age requirements
