$1,500 total sign on bonus forNight shifts Production Technician•Nights The ProductionTechnician I is responsible for operating and monitoring productionmachinery to maximize production and maintain KDP’s high standardsin safety and quality. This role will also be engaged in supportingimprovements to the manufacturing process in the areas of safety,quality, delivery, productivity and growth.
Shift and Schedule:
This is a full time position located in Essex, VT working 12 hourshifts on a 3-4 rotations. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends,and holidays is required as scheduled.
Available Shifts:
N1: Monday•Wednesday with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00pm•6:15am N2:
Friday•Sunday, with alternating Thursdays, from 6:00pm•6:15am
Position Responsibilities:
1. Maintain a safe and healthyenvironment, demonstrating safe behaviors at all times. 2.Understand and help drive improvement to quality systems andpolicies (Quality Data System, Safe Quality Food, GoodManufacturing Practices and Hazard Analysis Critical ControlPoints). 1. Learn to safely operate and monitor high-speedproduction equipment. 2. Actively engage in resolving productionline issues, executing and developing standard work, trackingproduction data, and participating in KDP’s lean daily managementprocess. 3. Actively learn and participate in formalproblem-solving processes with team members. 4. Generateproductivity and continuous improvement ideas. 5. Demonstrate KDPvalues of Team First, Deliver Big, Think Bold, Being Fearless andFair.
Qualifications:
1. Ability to quickly learn about howprocessing and packaging equipment works. Mechanical understandingor manufacturing experience preferred. 2. Self-motivated teamplayer with ability to make decisions, communicate and problemsolve. 3. Comfort with basic computer functions and ability toquickly learn production software. 4. Basic mathematical skills tomake production calculations
Total Rewards:
•Pay starting at$23.55 per hour plus up to a $3.00 shift differential The employeewill move to a higher rate of $24.72 per hour in the quarter aftertheir 6-month anniversary.•$1,500 sign on bonus for N1 and N2shifts

Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement Requirements:
1.Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and 50 pounds occasionally. 2.Ability to bend, stretch and stand during entire shift. 3. Abilityto frequently kneel, squat, climb stairs/ladders, bend, stoop,twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions. 4. Ability towork in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions.
