Security Clearance:
List security clearancerequirements (delete if not needed) Requirements Design and specifyshipboard electrical systems including power distribution,lighting, communications, automation, navigation, and propulsionsupport systems. Develop and review technical drawings, wiringdiagrams, cable schedules, load analyses, and one-line diagrams.
Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and regulations(e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG, IEEE, NEC). Coordinate with navalarchitects, mechanical engineers, and production teams during allphases of construction. Support procurement by specifyingelectrical equipment and reviewing vendor documentation. Overseesystem installation, troubleshoot issues during construction, andsupport testing and commissioning activities. Prepare and maintaintechnical documentation, change orders, and engineering reports.
Interface with clients, classification societies, and regulatoryinspectors during inspections and certifications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. 5years of relevant experience in marine, industrial, or shipyardenvironments preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD, or similar CADtools. Strong understanding of electrical systems design, powerdistribution, and control systems. Familiarity with shipbuildingprocesses and standards. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft officetools including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellentcommunication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasksand priorities in a dynamic environment. Willingness to work in ashipyard setting and occasionally board vessels under construction.
