Superior, Wisconsin or Pensacola,Florida On-Board start date June 01, 2025 (or sooner) 140K – 150K (negotiable DOE) excellent benefits, relocationincluded We are searching for a full-time Marine Structural Engineer, with(6) six – (8) eight years of experience and strong leadershipskills to join our Marine team. The candidate will work from theSuperior, WI or Pensacola, FL office. This position is not remoteand will require regular in-office work hours. The qualifiedcandidate will be responsible for leading the assessment, planningand execution of marine and coastal structural designs on a widerange of projects including new construction, additions, andmodifications to existing structures. Regions of work include GreatLakes Ports, River Loading and Unloading Terminals, and Eastern andGulf Region Ports. Additionally, the candidate will assist thedepartment manager with the oversight, development and guidance ofless experienced engineers and technicians. The ideal candidate should possess excellent written and oralcommunication skills and have impeccable follow-through whiletaking ownership in each project assigned. Travel and field workmay be required to complete projects. The successful candidate musthave experience in serving the engineering needs of clients byproviding exceptional professional service. They should bepassionate about their work, enjoy variety and like problemsolving. This candidate should be team oriented, honest and have ahelpful disposition with a positive “can-do” attitude.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license required 6 – 8+ years solid design experience of marine structures andrelated engineering projects Competent in the design of structural components and systems Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter that is deadline driven Excellent leadership skills Flexible to support project driven timelines and implementation Enjoys an ever changing, fast paced work environment Valid driver’s license

Preferred Additional Qualifications and Experience:

Ability to prepare construction and engineering cost estimates. Skilled in the design of steel, wood/timber, precast, concrete, andcomposite marine structures. Knowledge of dock, pier, wharf, and marine pile design a plus. Working knowledge of DEEPEX, Shoring Suite, Auto Cad, Auto deskRevit Structure, Solidworks, Microsoft Project, etc. Familiar with marine mooring, berthing and fender systemcomponents. Familiar with Bridge/Dam Inspection. Certification a plus but notrequired.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Represent company at project related meetings with clients duringall phases of design and construction. Manage projects and staff to meet critical deadlines andengineering budgets. Perform detailed engineering calculations utilizing codes,engineering software, spreadsheets, etc. Lead and manage projects from conception to completion. Review calculations and other engineering works completed bysupporting staff to ensure proper design, for accuracy andcompleteness. Coordinate and integrate work of sub-consultants into constructiondocuments on multi-disciplined projects. Assist in the management, oversight, development and guidance ofless experienced engineers and support staff. Creatively develop multiple solutions to problems encounteredduring all phases of design and construction. Author well-written and well-organized technical reports andletters. Review contractor submittals during construction for conformance toconstruction document requirements. Assist with estimating and writing proposals.

Wage and benefits package dependent upon qualifications andexperience of candidate.
