Principal Marine Structures Engineer Marine Engineering Service Company Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 • Hybrid work Senior (Marine) Structural Engineer Cherry Hill, New Jersey (Hybrid) – Monday & Friday work from home Our client, a waterfront facilities engineering firm based in South Jersey, is a pioneer in state-of-the-art marine and total harbor facilities. They provide innovative and cost-effective designs for new and existing port and marine terminal facilities, in addition to providing investigation, environmental, and efficient EPC and engineering services. As a one-stop shop for marine services, we are seeking a Senior (Marine) Structural Engineer who has deep experience in design and analysis of various structures with emphasis on marine/port structures, along with proficiency in Marine Materials (steel, concrete, timber, composites). Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil (Structural or Geotechnical) Engineering Minimum of 15 years of structural engineering experience Valid state Professional Engineering Licensure (P.E.) in NJ, PA, NY or DE. Additional state licensure a plus. • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Possesses advanced knowledge of various design and documentation software. Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory and permitting requirements as it applies to structural design and analysis. Proficiency with design and analysis using various materials including but not limited to steel, stainless steel, aluminum & cast-iron, cast-in-place, pre-stressed and post-tensioned concrete, timber. Familiarity with design and analysis using various materials including but not limited to composites, epoxies/resins/polymers, FRP, HDPE.
