Kforce in Tampa, FL is looking for Materials Engineers. A qualified applicant will be coordinating materials engineering projects to ensure effective planning and execution; Designing and implementing testing procedures to ensure quality and efficiency in process development, including tracking and making changes to experimental flows; Developing and executing qubit measurement experiments, leveraging measurement techniques to evaluate the properties of quantum devices, ensuring precision in measurements and data collection for internal research use using material characterization equipment, electrical test equipment, Python, Process Maps, and ESD sensitive devices ; Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate new processes into existing manufacturing operations; Optimizing measurement setups, incorporating custom filtering and cryogenic wiring schemes to reduce noise and enhance signal integrity for reliable qubit performance testing in condensed matter physics experiments; Automating data acquisition processes using Python for real-time qubit performance monitoring and analysis; and Ensuring all processes meet industry standards and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Materials Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering and one years experience in position, Process or Manufacturing Engineering field; and experience with material characterization equipment, electrical test equipment, Python, Process Maps, and ESD sensitive devices. Up to 100% travel to various unanticipated domestic client sites in US required.
Salary:
$45.00 to $90.00/hour.
