Full Job Description Job Title :

Metallurgist Location :

St. Charles, MO 63303 Metallurgists are responsible for working with metals and alloys in the development and manufacturing of Tablet Press Machines and tooling. The Metallurgist will provide support to the manufacturing area and will address quality issues. They should be able to multitask on a variety of projects and have knowledge of metals, alloys, chemical metallurgy, and structural metallurgy to facilitate their work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts metallurgical testing, destructive testing, failure analysis, and analytical investigations Provide technical expertise and consultation to all areas in the organization regarding metallurgical and product engineering issues Maintain technical and statistical documentation of metal Liaise as required with both customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues Operate and maintain a full functional metallurgical laboratory Conduct a quality inspection of Heat Treat operations Compile and interpret reports This list is not intended to be all-inclusive. Required Skills and Attributes:

Must be at least 18 years of age Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to solve problem and expedite solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing quality issues Ability to work with minimum supervision

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Engineering 0-1 years’ experience
