Due to an increased influx of business, we are looking for a Rubber Molding Engineer. This is a Full Time, On-Site position. Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Rubber Molding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing rubber molding processes to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications and industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of polymer materials and engineering principles as well as experience in injection molding techniques. Key Responsibilities Design and develop rubber molding processes to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet customer requirements.
Conduct experiments and analyses to improve molding parameters and reduce production costs.
Utilize CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, to create and modify engineering designs and specifications.
Perform Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) and Design for Assembly (DFA) assessments to enhance product reliability.
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in rubber molding technologies and materials. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in rubber molding or polymer engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and best practices.
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks, for designing and modeling components.
Familiarity with Failure Mode Analysis (FMA) and Design for Assembly (DFA) methodologies.
