Your Role:

Hands-On, Impactful, and Fast-Paced As an Entry-Level Construction Materials Engineering Technician in Greenville, NC , you will gain practical experience in construction materials testing while working on dynamic projects that shape our communities.

What You’ll Do:

Analyze project documents and specifications before starting fieldwork to ensure compliance. Conduct field and laboratory tests on construction materials, including soil, concrete, asphalt, and aggregates. Utilize Metafield® application for accurate field and laboratory data entry. Maintain field and laboratory equipment to ensure precision and industry compliance. Communicate with project stakeholders, including management, contractors, and clients, to report findings and progress.

What We’re Looking For:

A High School diploma/GED A minimum of 0-2 years of experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation A certification from any of the following is a plus: American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I, Strength Testing Technician, Laboratory Technician A strong ability to communicate effectively in English (speaking, reading, and writing) A basic understanding of math concepts related to weight, volume, pressure, and units of measurement What to

Expect:

With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), you will: Work primarily outdoors in all weather conditions. Walk over rough, uneven terrain and stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours). Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment.
