The Manufacturing Engineer will play a hands-on role indeveloping medical device products, operating injection moldingmachines and advanced robotic automation equipment, while alsoengaging with leading healthcare organizations to build strong,collaborative relationships. Client Details The organizationoperates multiple facilities nationwide, specializing in plasticsand sheet metal manufacturing for diverse industries includingMedical Devices, Aerospace, and Semiconductors. They partner withsome of the world’s leading healthcare companies and are activelyexpanding through new facility launches and strategic acquisitionsacross several states. Description The Manufacturing Engineer willbe responsible for: Recommend improvements to machining processesto enhance quality and reduce costs. Apply engineering principlesto develop and refine manufacturing workflows. Investigate customerissues and support CAPA efforts to ensure resolution. Lead processimprovements for both new and existing parts. Define tooling needsand manage tool life. Create work instructions, quality alerts, andsupport employee training. Provide production documentation toensure customer requirements are met. Design custom tooling usingCAD software. Review specifications to meet new part requirements.
Perform contract reviews and collaborate with internal teams todeliver on project goals. Support value stream activities byreviewing and approving NCMRs. Utilize ERP systems for RMAs, NCMRs,and production support. Communicate effectively with customersduring visits, meetings, and via email. Participate in the ECNprocess and take ownership as needed. Profile The successfulManufacturing Engineer will have what follows: Associate’s degreein Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Technology required;Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3 years in a manufacturing setting, oran equivalent combination of education and experience. Provenability to fulfill key responsibilities may be considered in placeof formal requirements.
