The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeingthe planning and execution of engineering activities and projectsrelated to manufacturing processes. Description The Process Engineering Manager will beresponsible for: Lead efforts to enhance operational workflowsthrough continuous training, strategic process refinement, and theintroduction of efficiency-focused initiatives Champion ongoingimprovements across machinery, materials, production techniques,tooling systems, and automation technologies Oversee and coordinatethe responsibilities of the engineering team within theorganization Explore and execute strategies to reduce operationalexpenses without compromising quality or performance Collaboratewith internal stakeholders-including leadership, manufacturing, andcommercial teams-to assess project needs and align on deliverablesConduct market research, attend industry events, and evaluate newtechnologies to inform actionable, scalable project recommendationsSupervise the deployment, evaluation, upkeep, and troubleshootingof equipment and infrastructure, ensuring accountability amongassigned personnel Guide and validate the development and revisionof product designs Define and pursue the organization’s technicaland research priorities Establish and enforce engineeringstandards, procedures, and best practices to support consistencyand excellence in technical operations Profile The successfulProcess Engineering Manager will have a background as follows:
Degree in Plastics Engineering or a related technical field Minimumof five years of practical experience in injection moldingoperations Comfortable with, or eager to learn, quality frameworksand industry protocols including PFMEA, APQP, and PPAP Demonstratedability to lead and execute projects from initial planning throughto full production deployment Proficient in using a wide range ofprecision measurement instruments for inspection and processverification Skilled in interpreting complex technical drawings andapplying geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)standards Experienced in identifying and diagnosing molded partdefects, with a solid understanding of root causes and correctiveactions Capable of programming and operating coordinate measuringmachines (CMMs) and vision inspection systems Technically adeptwith productivity and data tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word,and Access Job Offer The Process Engineering Manager will beoffered: Competitive base salary Full Benefits Bonus packageOpportunity to grow as a technical leader Massive scale up after arecord 2024 MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color,religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression,national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status,or based on an individual’s status in any group or class protectedby applicable federal, state or local law.
