PRIMARY PURPOSE OFPOSITION

Responsible for performing engineering and technicaltasks, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plantoperations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Performengineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applyinggeneral engineering principles.
• Assure all engineering productsprepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses,industry codes, engineering specifications and all regulatoryrequirements.
• Participate in the development and implementationof effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels ofdetail and in compliance with established policies and procedures
• Recommend format and methodology improvements to standardprocesses and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S. inEngineering
• Minimum of one year as an Engineer 2A
• CompletedEngineering Initial Training and assigned job specificqualifications
• Possesses or demonstrates progress in developingat least half of the key knowledge and skills for Level 3 PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
• Engineer in training certification
• Good grasp oftechniques and a good understanding of the fundamental functionsperformed by the group.
