Robot Operator- 1st & 2nd shift Six Axis, LLC 219 Safety Avenue, Andrews, SC 29510 SixAxis designs and manufactures advance products that increase safety and boost productivity around the globe. Designs fixtures and devices to attain high quality outcomes. Facilitates and participates in cross-functional process improvement and problem-solving kaizen events. Applies engineering best practice to all work assignments and shares knowledge with other team members. Assesses processes, takes measurements, and interprets data to make improvements. Develops best practices, routines, and innovative welding solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Performs welding process and design simulations and analysis. Performs risk assessments using FMEA method. Designs and conducts destructive and non-destructive testing. Develops welding process documentation and standard operating instructions. Responsible for maintenance of robot systems. Trains operators to properly run robots. Develop and improve programs PLC, Robot, CNC by using software to ensure efficient, cost-effective process cycles Other duties as required. Job Requirements 5+ years of robotic welding automation experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment Experience with new process and product launches including but not limited to:
APQP, PPAP, DFSS, DFA, DFM
Excellent Problem-Solving Skills with experience in Root Cause and Corrective Action using a structured problem-solving methodology such as Six Sigma, Shainin, 8D, and/or A3. Experience with Equipment performance and reliability metrics such as OEE, MTBF, and MTTR Understanding of equipment health through the implementation of PM, PdM, and CBM maintenance programs Knowledge of process related standards and manufacturing/fabrication methods SolidWorks, AutoCAD experience highly desired Familiarity with health and safety regulations Analytical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a Team setting Extensive welding experience with steel, aluminum, and stainless Experience with vision systems a plus Experience with Fronius and ABB required Physical and Environmental Factors May move or lift parts up to 50 lbs. Stand or sit for extended periods of time
