Salary Range:

$55,000•$65,000 per year

Job Description:

Arclabs Welding School is expanding, and we’re in search of a dynamic and seasoned individual to take the helm as our Lead Welding Night Instructor. This is not just a role; it’s a unique opportunity to lead, inspire, and shape the future of aspiring welders while providing unwavering mentorship and guidance.

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

As the Lead Welding Night Instructor, you will serve as the cornerstone of our evening welding classes. Your role extends beyond instruction to encompass effective leadership, as you coach and mentor students, instilling in them the skills, knowledge, and confidence required for successful welding careers.

Student Engagement:

Be a guiding light for your students, ensuring their attendance, retention, and performance remain at the forefront. Your leadership plays a pivotal role in inspiring students to excel in their welding journeys.

Communication:

Effective communication with school administration is paramount. Your insights and feedback regarding student-related matters will be instrumental in maintaining a thriving learning environment.

Team Engagement:

Actively participate in mandatory meetings scheduled by the corporate office and contribute to campus committees and projects. Your leadership extends to collaboration and involvement in the broader educational community.

Additional Duties:

As a leader, you’ll be ready to take on additional responsibilities as the need arises, demonstrating your commitment to the success of both your students and the institution.

Requirements:

Successful completion of the following welding tests:3G and 4G

GMAW/FCAW

combo (Mig root uphill or downhill, Flux core fill and cap on 3/8 carbon steel plate). 6G

GTAW/SMAW

combo on 4-inch sch80 carbon steel pipe. Minimum of 5 years of welding experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in GTAW welding, GMAW/FCAW, and SMAW welding. Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Columbia, SC 29210.
