Drafters are responsible for creating drawings that exhibit the detail and method of assembly for a variety of products and locations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare layout drawings that detail plans and specifications. Provide details and component descriptions. Review and analyze specifications. Draft technical details. Specify dimensions and materials. Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase. Make modifications/improvements to existing drawings to meet requirements. Create and store drawings electronically. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent Must be proficient with AutoCAD
- Candidate must have a minimum of 1 year experience preparing clear, complete, and accurate detail drawings
- Candidate must exhibit a professional attitude and analytical problem-solving skills, must have willingness and desire to learn and take on new tasks
- Candidate must be personable, capable of working in a team environment and independently and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills -This position is on-site at our Deerfield Beach location.
