Full Job Description AutoCAD Drafter Shift/Hours:

Monday•Friday, 8 am•5 pm

Pay Rate:

$22/hr.•$25/hr.

DOE Location:

Fort Myers, FL Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join their team. This role is crucial in translating design concepts into precise technical drawings for the manufacturing process. AutoCAD Drafter Job Description Create detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD based on architectural and design specifications. Collaborate with designers, project managers, and shop personnel to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs. Review and revise drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements. Prepare documentation for manufacturing, including bills of materials, specifications, and installation instructions. Assist in the development of prototypes and models as needed. Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and documentation. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to team members. Identify and resolve drafting issues and discrepancies.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an AutoCAD Drafter. Proficiency in AutoCAD software and other drafting tools. Strong understanding of drafting standards, techniques, and procedures. Ability to read and interpret architectural and design drawings. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Technical diploma or degree in drafting, design, or related field is preferred.
