The Position This position is a member of the EngineeringDepartment. The Layout Drafter/Mechanical Drafter will reportdirectly to the Mechanical Engineering Team Leader. Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities Produce finished AutoCAD and/or SolidWorksdrawings. Including, but not limited to, general arrangements,sketches, mark-up’s, preliminary layouts and proposal drawings.
Work with mechanical engineers to perform all drawing requests.
Drawings to be of quality work, conforming to Bartell standards.
Update marked up drawings or legacy prints (RPG requests) asrequired. Provide accurate data entry of information between D365and point(s) of origin. Ensure BOM accuracy per print. CreateBartell part numbers as required. Create item masters for all newpurchased components. Ensure standardization and quality of inputs.
Job Requirements Education High School Diploma Skills & RelevantWork Experience AutoCAD and SolidWorks training from two-yearprogram, technical school, or relevant certifications Basicunderstanding of drafting standards and GD&T Working knowledgeof D365 Experience creating 2D and 3D CAD content Must haveexcellent communication skills Extremely meticulous and detailoriented Microsoft Word and Excel proficient Proficient mathskills:
Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry Travel Requirements:
