• we’re streamlining the backbone of commerce. We’re looking for a Mechanical Drafter to join our high-performing engineering support team, where your designs and insights will directly impact the safety, efficiency, and innovation of distribution operations.
• What You’ll Do
• As a Mechanical Drafter, you’ll bring concepts to life, playing a critical role in the design and improvement of facility systems—especially conveyors and related mechanical components. This is a hands-on, drafting-first role where your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will shine.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• + Creating detailed 2D and 3D conveyor design drafts using AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

+ Computing cost estimates and drafting feasibility studies for mechanical design options. + Assisting with corrective action plans for damaged or worn equipment in collaboration with the operations team. + Supporting maintenance and physical asset protection efforts to ensure a safe and efficient facility. + Overseeing housekeeping vendors and conducting inspections to verify quality standards. + Participating in environmental audits and assisting with compliance training. + Collaborating with management on project planning and documentation efforts. + Utilizing Microsoft Project or Excel to help drive projects from conception to completion.

• What We’re Looking For

• Required:

• + Proficient in Autodesk or SolidWorks (2D and 3D design software). + Strong drafting background
• this is the core of your role. + Excellent attention to detail with the ability to toggle between conceptual thinking and detailed execution. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

• Preferred:

• + Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. + Project management experience, including familiarity with Microsoft Project. + Experience in the distribution or logistics industry is a plus.
