Summary This position is responsible for product cost estimating, proposal and specification preparation and supporting Business Development Managers and customers as required. As part of the Sales Team, you will leverage your core skills in mechanical design, CAD, and schematics to create efficient solutions for our customers. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications Provide preliminary engineering calculations, specifications, sketches and layouts as required to meet customer expectations Review engineering drawings, analyze design and retrieve information to complete drawing, layout or design Reviews and ensures compliance to corporate/company sales order terms and conditions Review specifications, drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and installation documentation to assist with machinery application questions. Provides input and suggestions for new products/improvements Qualifications Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, Inventor Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in mechanical design Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics, and electric components.
