Role Overview As a CAD Drafter , you will play a key role in transforming design concepts and field notes into precise electrical schematics and panel layout drawings. You’ll work closely with our engineering team to create documentation that serves as the blueprint for high-quality control panel builds and installations. Responsibilities Draft electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software. Interpret engineer redlines, field markups, and I/O lists. Ensure drawings comply with applicable codes, standards (including UL508A), and internal drafting guidelines. Organize and manage drawing revisions, part lists, and design files. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and panel builders to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications Required:
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or EPLAN. Strong knowledge of control panel drafting standards and electrical symbols. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to drawing accuracy. Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred:
1-3 years of drafting experience in electrical/control systems. Familiarity with PLC-based systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
