Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Piping Designer to join our Team for an Onsite Position in the Donaldsonville Area.

Responsibilities:
Work onsite at a Donaldsonville, Louisiana area facility in support of Inspection Isometric Document Updating. Be able to extract piping circuit information from P&ID’s and locate lines in the field to make ISO sketches. Create AutoCAD Files using client drafting standards of inspection ISO Circuit drawings. Understand piping system symbology and follow client standards/procedures for checking out drawing files and archiving requirements. Capable of walking down piping in the field and documenting information for P&ID and ISO updates. Have good organization skills to account for large volume of drawing edits and ensure quality of deliverables. Awareness of project schedule and budget to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Be able to interact with Maintenance/Reliability Engineers, Inspectors, Plant Operations, and Drafting Dept. Staff to support as-built documentation needs.
Requirement s:
AS Degree or Certification from an accredited Drafting Program 1-2 years of relevant experience. Hands on knowledge/experience with AutoCAD. Ability to understand P&ID’s and draw piping isometric drawings. Ability to make field trips to make sketches of existing installations. Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate Attention to detail Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
Experience Preferred:
AutoCAD Intern or previous experience in plant facility drafting, piping fabrication shop, or working with piping inspection group.
