This is a hands-on, design-heavy role ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity, engineering, and real-world application. What You’ll Do

• Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling for use in manufacturing and quality inspection
• Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and detailed 2D drawings
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing, and quality
• Support design for manufacturability, assembly, and inspection
• Review and release drawings and documentation per internal standards

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CATIA for mechanical design and drafting
• Experience designing fixtures for machining, assembly, or inspection
• Strong understanding of GD&T and technical drawing standards
• Hands-on approach to solving complex manufacturing design challenges
• Attention to detail and a high standard for design quality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SolidWorks , especially in a reputable manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with sheet metal, machined parts, or robotic assembly tooling
• Familiarity with PCBA’s, Cable harnessing, and/or ESD-safe fixturing
• Experience with hydraulic or pneumatic press fixturing and tooling
• Previous experience supporting production ramp-up or New Product Introduction (NPI)
