division is currently seeking a Lead Customer Order Designer (COD). This position will be

ONSITE M-F

at our Fayetteville NC Eaton facility. Relocation within the USA Country is also being provided, if needed. The primary function of the Custom Order Designer is to provide mechanical design and documentation support for the Low Voltage Motor Control Center product line. This includes, but is not limited to engineering designs, collaborating with application engineers, and manufacturing associates, utilization of design automation software, and producing/maintaining manufacturing documentation.

This position will have a heavy focus on interaction with the manufacturing and design teams, specifically the harness, unit and/or structure designs. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56250.0 – $82500.0 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you’ll do: In this role: Work to standard procedures or written and oral instructions from supervisor. Strong Mechanical aptitude as well as familiarity in reading schematic diagrams to determine mechanical design requirements and associated layouts. Mnage Manufacturing and Engineering Change Notices. Demonstrate advanced computer skills with ability to learn required software (Bid Manager, AutoCAD, Design Automation, MAPICS). Interpret engineering work packages to develop mechanical design and manufacturing information packages. Address and resolve issues that surface with little to no supervision Coordinate with different levels of the organization to ensure schedules are met. Detailed Bill of Material reviews for editing and accuracy. Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects/assignments/duties

Qualifications:

Associates Degree or High School Diploma with 3 years relevant experience. Must be willing to relocate to Fayetteville, NC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field from an accredited institution. Knowledge of Motor Control Centers and/or Package Control Assemblies through experience and/or education. Proficient in AutoCAD and other engineering and design software programs. #LI-MI1

Skills:

Able to read schematic diagrams and experience with complex Bill of Materials.
