Understands and possesses the knowledge of the NEC, as well as your local codes. Understands and possesses the discipline to be trusted after being lined out by a Foreman and left alone for an extended period. Possesses the discipline of time management, i.e. showing up to work and being at the designated spot on time and ready to work and taking the proper allocated break and lunch times. Possesses the ability to hold themselves to a higher standard. Understand the basic concept of Control submittals and MEP drawings. Able to manage 1 to 2 apprentices. Possesses the basic knowledge of the mechanical system. Possesses the knowledge of basic electrical material. Possesses the knowledge of basic control wire and misc. material, i.e. bridal rings, J-hooks, etc.… Continuously displays a high level of installation quality. Understanding 98% or more of Controls Submittals. Able to install and manage any project up to $100,000.00. Able to maintain jobsite and keep it organized. Able to plan and order material at least 1 week in advance. Able to read and understand project schedules. Ability to manage a crew size up to 5 people. Instructs subordinates in quality installations and drives quality. Able to read and understand MEP drawings. Able to and understand the importance of written documentation. Displays proficiency in writing email and communication. Able to track job hours and compare to job hours budget (Job Progress). Able to create daily As Built record drawings. Ability to train Apprentices in job execution. Must be able to communicate professionally to other team members and customers technicians. Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

$21.00 – $31.00 per hour
