Adecco is currently assiting a local company in York, PA intheir search for a CAD Tech. This is a contact postion, lasting forover a year. Duties included but not limited to:
- Assists in the development of product and manufacturingspecifications for new and existing products.
- Applies technical skills to create specifications definingappropriate dimensions, materials and performance criteria forproducts.
- Applies technical skills to evaluate applicable dimensions andproduct performance that is required to define proper productspecifications.
- Uses CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe, Photoshop) andinstrumentation (calipers, micrometers, etc.
) to create and modifyproduct specifications electronically.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in engineering or manufacturing technology ispreferred
- Two year minimum experience or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience with mechanical drafting skills ispreferred
- Proficient use of CAD software (SolidWorks and AutoCAD) as wellas graphics editing software (i.
