Drafter Position Available In Richland, South Carolina

Daily Responsibilities

• Work with Detailing Supervisor to meet project deadlines
• Create AutoCAD drawings from customer supplied Structural drawings
• Work directly with Customers to problem solve drawing concerns or questions
• Create Bill of Materials and shop drawings for shop production
• Monitor production schedule to ensure projects stay on track to meet delivery schedules Work with Sales and the Customer to produce change orders for any revisions that occurRequired skills
• Working accurately and efficiently under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills with co-workers and customers
• Sufficient computer skills
• Proficient math skills
• Must be self-motivated, willing to accept responsibility, and follow through
• Very good multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Strong problem solving, organizational, time management and communication skills are a must due todaily interactions with management and production personnel.“`{=html}“
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, ability to change direction as needed and be flexible to address urgent situations as they occur.“`{=html}“
• Must be accurate, possess keen attention to detail, and proactive in pointing out potential issues

• Extremely responsible and punctual with deadlines
• Willing to work overtimePreferred skills
• Knowledgeable in interpreting structural drawings and contract documents
• AutoCAD Certified and/or on the job experience
