JOB SUMMARY
Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services (KDRSS) is leading the way in the Department of Defenseis highest technical priority- Hypersonic Weapons Research, Development, Test and Evaluation. KDRSS maintains a unique and highly capable mix of flight, ground and material testing capability as well as specialized software development and application to Hypersonic T&E. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist in Aero-Thermal-Structural modeling analyses supporting ground and flight test activities.
Utilize in-house, Government and Commercial tools to support the Hypersonic T&E Mission
Customize, adapt, and apply available tools to meet requirements given resource and schedule restrictions.
Assist in the planning and conduct of aero-thermal-optical ground tests at the countryis leading facilities, in coordination with the Nationis top scientists and engineers
Coordinate the utilization of test data for the development, verification and validation of Transient, Thermal Analysis Software tools being developed for hypersonic seeker Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
Develop written reports, briefings and other documentation.

Required Experience:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
Experience with the use, modification and/or development of scientific computing applications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Assistance with technical proposal writing and development on an as needed basis
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering or related fields
US Citizen
Active Secret Security Clearance

Office environment
Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
