Job Purpose Create new equipment or modify existing designs to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability, considering factors like, cost, materials, and manufacturing constraints. Key Accountabilities Supervise the installation and modification of equipment, ensuring proper setup and testing prior to operational use. Conduct virtual builds for Vehicle Quality and carry out New Model Vehicle equipment checks during the development of new models.
Lead diagnosis of Vehicle Quality equipment issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective countermeasures.
Examine and interpret data to recognize patterns and enhance equipment performance.
Manage New Model projects and associated design modifications to ensure equipment production capacity is sustained.
Communicate with colleagues, ESA’s, management, and other departments to provide updates on equipment status, identify maintenance requirements, and resolve production issues.
Lead the identification and resolution of equipment malfunctions, conduct preventative maintenance, and supervise repair processes to minimize operational downtime.
Ensure that equipment complies with safety and company quality standards.
Manage equipment-related investment projects for Vehicle Quality, including development, design, specification, and installation.
Assist the Vehicle Quality Electrical Engineering Planner as needed.
Flexible shift schedule (2nd shift support as needed).
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Education Required:
Four (4) year Engineer degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience Experience Required 0-6 years of engineering experience Skills Desired Has experience with identifying and solving Equipment issues/ CBU issues in a timely fashion.

Vehicle Quality Equipment Knowledge
Data analysis and countermeasure activity
Prior CMMS System Experience Working Conditions Office and production areas.
Must be able to travel unassisted both domestically and internationally as business needs dictates.
Able to support all shifts and operation including weekends and holidays.
