Job Description
Manage tooling suppliers and methods during the tooling design phase, Ensure innovative tools meet specifications, improve quality, reduce costs, and align with project deadlines; Forecast accurate tool specifications to ensure optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with production requirements; Responsible for handing over of specification compliant tools to the production departments; Responsible for all tool allocation, negotiations and providing sampling information; Develop information for tooling tryouts to validate performance and ensure production quality; Generate tool inquiries, specifications, plans, and work orders to enhance productivity and competitiveness; Responsible for assembly of all new tooling equipment.
