Salary:
$65,000 – $90,000 per year A bit about us: Ourclient is an industry recognized leader in the the customdesign/production of fluid handling equipment for theirmanufacturing and wastewater customers. Every project is different,and the work is fast-paced, dynamic, and exciting. Due to companygrowth, we are looking for a strong controls engineer/plcprogrammer to join the team in Cromwell, CT. JobStability (currently thriving in uncertain times, and alsohistorically through any economic downturns over the past 30 years)Projects booked through 2025 already Profit sharing 401k withemployer match 15 days PTO Annual reviews for raises (exceptionalperformance at 6 months) Medical, dental, vision insurance JobDetails The Project Manager/Engineer is the liaison between thecustomer and the internal engineering team regarding all mattersinvolving project design, drawings, tracking, status updates/followups, problem resolution and project deadline. This candidate mustbe an effective communicator with good time management skills.
Communicate with customers effectively during design/fabrication toensure it goes smoothly and that customer deadlines are met.
Support the Engineering department by creating project designs anddrawings to customer specifications. Mechanical Design (AutoCADdrawings of assemblies and skid weldments). Develop processes(P&ID, Functional Logics, Components selection) as a basis formechanical and electrical designs. Project Management (Projectreview, Assemblies Release/Procurement). Equipment Inspection andreview. Functional equipment testing. Maintain tracking on allprojects status/issues/fabrication by staying in constantcommunication with internal resources to ensure there are nounforeseen delays/issues. Resolve project issues that may arise,during or after fabrication as quickly as possible whilemaintaining a team- oriented outlook. Develop system operationmanuals for customers as needed.
Escalate any issues surrounding:
completed designs, major design changes, financial decisions, majorand/or expensive project additions/changes. Achieve projectcompletion deadlines, while communicating effectively with the BPEteam and customer. Research and resolve any system design flawsthat are discovered.

Requirements:
Bachelors in engineering is required.(Mechanical or Chemical preferred). At least 2 years of experienceworking in an engineering project manager role Experience withP&IDs Knowledge of concepts including fluid mechanics,structural, heat transfer, chemical compatibility, and pipingsystems Experience with MS office package, CAD, 3D modeling, etc.
