Mechanical System Design Engineer Position Available In Bay, Florida

We are seeking a Mechanical System Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of industrial laundry equipment, with a focus on material handling systems. This role involves interpreting customer requirements and transforming them into detailed project and product specifications while collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers. Responsibilities Design industrial laundry equipment with a focus on material handling systems. Interpret customer requirements and translate them into project and product specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and controls engineers for a concurrent design approach. Act as a liaison to Purchasing, Production, Sales, and Product Support departments by providing technical support. Participate in lab testing and field trials. Travel up to 5% of the time for site surveys. Essential Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD design. Experience in designing rail, conveyor, and material handling systems. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in designing industrial equipment. Experience with 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks. Pneumatic and hydraulic system design experience. Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
