The Mechanical VDC Project Lead will be responsible for overseeing the virtual design and construction processes for mechanical projects. This role involves leading a team of engineers and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution through the effective use of VDC technologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the virtual design and construction (VDC) efforts for mechanical projects
Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure alignment on project goals
Develop and maintain Revit models for mechanical systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
Conduct clash detection and resolve issues using VDC tools and methodologies
Mentor and train junior team members in VDC practices and Revit software
Prepare project documentation and reports to communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
3+ years Mechanical VDC experience
Proficiency with drafting/design
Proficiency in Revit software Strong understanding of plumbing and piping systems (required)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting Benefits Hourly $43-48.25 (DOE)
