Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical systems with a focus on HVAC and plumbing engineering. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM for 3D modeling and schematic design. Ensure compliance with industry standards including ASHRAE 90.1, 62.1, 55, NEC, NESC, IBC, and sustainable design practices. Contribute to design-build projects and alternative delivery practices. Participate in site visits to assess project progress and adherence to design specifications. Essential Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on HVAC and Plumbing Engineering. P.E. license required. 10+ years of HVAC/Plumbing design experience within a consulting firm. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM. Experience with ASHRAE standards and California Title 24 Energy Code. Knowledge of sustainable design and design-build practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications LEED AP preferred. Experience with Government/DOD projects preferred. Work Environment Office setting with occasional site visits for project progress.
