- We are searching for the best talent for Sr Principal Eng R D Electrical Engineer to be in Jacksonville, Florida.
- As the Sr. Principal Engineer, you will:
- + Manage End-to-End Automation Projects/Programs and participate in projects led by others as Equipment Controls SME + Guide the organization in the adoption of technological advancements, assess new technologyapplications and develop short and long-term automation roadmaps + Design, build, program, configure, install, commission and maintain Electrical Controls systems throughout JJV + Develop User Requirement Specifications and implement Equipment Control systems, shop floor controls and productivity software tools + Investigate, diagnose and resolve issues with hardware, software and network interphases + Provide recommendations in the areas of safety, quality, equipment effectiveness, equipment function and equipment reliability + Guide, Mentor, Train and Develop JJV personnel + Perform Equipment control design tasks including development of controls requirements, system specifications, P&ID schematics, test scripts, controls safety assessments, qualifications protocols, protocol execution, reports, technical instructions and training.
+ Participate in the review, negotiation and vigilance of support service contracts and vendor commitments + Support Supply Chain and commercial manufacturing initiatives and participate in cross-departmental action committees + Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing + Complete other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
- + Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, 20 years required + Advanced Degree in Electrical Controls required + Experience working in Equipment Automation Control roles (minium of 15 years required) + Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLC’srequired (10 years, required) + Experience supporting
DCS, SCADA
(10 years, required) + Familiarity with multi-level automation architecture and industrial network designs using DeviceNet and/or ControlNet network applications for data exchange over ethernet, required + Experience configuring HMI’s (10 years, required) + Experience supporting 6-Axis robots or SCARA’s and Servos (10 years, required) + Experience supporting instrumentation devices (5 years, required) + Experience working in the Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or other regulated industries is a plus + Ability to complete projects with minimal guidance and supervision + Some experience in machine learning is a plus, not required. + Able to travel up to 20% both domestic and/or international.
