Position Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with strong experience in marine systems and a solid understanding of fluid dynamics . This full-time, onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, innovative environment and wants to help shape the future of marine technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and test marine-grade mechanical/electrical systems, including waterproof enclosures, connectors, and embedded hardware components.
- Apply principles of fluid dynamics to optimize hydrodynamic performance of enclosures, housings, and marine-deployed systems.
- Collaborate with our cross-functional team to integrate electronics into mechanically complex marine environments.
- Develop prototypes, conduct field and lab testing, and iterate designs based on real-world performance data.
- Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and durability requirements for saltwater, impact, and pressure conditions.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in marine or offshore systems design.
- Strong foundation in fluid dynamics , including CFD analysis or empirical testing for submerged or semi-submerged systems.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and/or electrical design software.
- Hands-on experience with marine installation, materials, and corrosion protection methods.
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to work on both mechanical and electrical challenges.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with
IP67/IP68
sealing standards and waterproofing methods.
- Experience with embedded electronics, power systems, or marine-grade connectors.
- Personal passion for boating, fishing, or maritime environments.
