Electro-Mechanical Technician 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars North Miami Beach, FL 33169 Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Electro-Mechanical Technician to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical components and systems used in aircraft. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with aerospace components including actuators, sensors, wiring harnesses, control systems, and motors. This role plays a critical part in ensuring product reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble, disassemble, and perform functional testing of aerospace electromechanical components such as servos, motors, actuators, and solenoids. Diagnose and repair component-level electrical and mechanical issues. Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings. Perform soldering, crimping, connector installation, and wire harness routing to aerospace standards (e.g., IPC/WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001). Use test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies. Document all work performed in accordance with FAA, EASA, or AS9100 standards. Work with Engineering to support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety procedures.
Must-Have Requirements:
2+ years of experience in aerospace or aviation electromechanical assembly and repair. Knowledge of FAA Part 145 or similar maintenance standards. Strong understanding of mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read and work from technical documentation, drawings, and blueprints. Proficiency with hand tools, soldering irons, and diagnostic tools.
