Position Description Serco is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. This entry-level engineering role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and support of mission-critical systems within a highly innovative and collaborative environment. This position is part of Serco’s Global Battle and Mission Readiness Division, supporting defense sector initiatives. In this role, you will: Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk assessment, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complete systems.
Conduct analyses across all levels of total system products including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
Translate customer or product requirements into comprehensive system solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Execute functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to support system development into hardware and software specifications.
Qualifications Qualifications Must be completing or have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Must be majoring in or have majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline.
Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). To be successful in this role, you will have: Strong foundational knowledge in systems engineering concepts.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrated academic success with the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world applications.
