Orlando, FL (Hybrid, 1-2 days per week remote) About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and development of complex mechanical systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge machinery and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, field-ready solutions. Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and a passion for hands-on engineering. Key Responsibilities Design and develop intricate mechanical systems including gearing, actuators, wheels, weldments, and bearings. Conduct detailed engineering calculations and simulations to validate designs. Serve as Project Engineer, overseeing design execution, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder communication. Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering documentation and manufacturing-ready drawings. Lead design reviews and collaborate with contractors, architects, consultants, and clients to resolve technical challenges. Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Support procurement, fabrication, and commissioning processes with clear documentation and technical guidance. Travel to project sites for system commissioning and troubleshooting. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution. 5+ years of relevant experience (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree). Proficiency in SolidWorks, GD&T, FEA, and new product development. Strong problem-solving skills with a system-level engineering mindset. Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Mechanical, Structural, Aerospace, or related field. E.I.T. certification or Florida P.E. license. 2+ years of experience in the Amusement or Entertainment industry.
