Job Description
Summary:
Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, fabrication, and testing of gas turbine auxiliary and process equipment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering. Five years of engineering experience in auxiliaries, skids, and systems engineering. Professional engineering license (Professional Engineer, Chartered Engineer or equivalent).
Preferred Skills:
Highly proficient in drafting steel piping structures in Solidworks. Familiarity with
ISO 9001 QMS
systems, gas turbine plants, ASME
B31.1/B31.3
standards. Experience with generating and reading P&IDs, General Arrangement Drawings, Process Flow Diagrams, Piping Drawings.
Job Responsibilities:
Interpret customer specifications to size and select industrial process control components. Calculate pressure drops and flow rates across skid equipment. Perform heat transfer calculations and structural analyses. Develop initial designs for equipment skids and control systems. Generate datasheets, bills of materials (BOMs), and other documentation for procurement. Review designs to ensure all customer requirements are met. Work with Project Management, Purchasing, Quality, Production, and Field Service teams to execute project scope. �
