Responsibilities Build, test, and troubleshoot complex sub and system level assemblies. Build, setup, and debug mechanical and optical assemblies using mechanical prints. Build, setup, test, and debug pneumatic assemblies using pneumatic schematics. Build, setup, test, and debug electrical assemblies using electrical schematics. Build assemblies with tolerances less than .001″. Provide and document timely feedback to the Engineering department on issues encountered during build processes. Perform and document incoming inspection of parts or assemblies to written procedures. Create or update manufacturing or quality documentation/procedures. Support engineering through system level troubleshooting. Perform and document final testing of the equipment. Essential Skills Minimum 2 years’ experience within mechanical or electronic assembly and testing. Experience reading blueprints, with a preference for pneumatic and optical. Proficiency with calipers and micrometers. Experience with functionality testing. Machinery assembly and testing experience, with a preference for complex circuits and machinery. Ability to read schematics and build sheets.
