As an ATLO (Assembly, Test, and Launch Operations) Quality Engineer Sr., you will be operating as the Quality Test Engineering Lead on the Orion Manned Space Flight program at Kennedy Space Center, Neil Armstrong Operations and Checkout Facility. As the Quality Test Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team performing oversight of all planning, preparation, and execution of all testing related activities for the Orion Spacecraft for Artemis II (first crewed flight), Artemis III (lunar landing), and all future missions.
Other Responsibilities you will be involved with:
Ongoing collaboration with engineering and testing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
Design and implementation methods and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
Participation in audits of the quality systems for deficient identification and correction. Ensure that correct measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is liant with requirements.
Oversight of test plans, test procedures, and schematics for system and subsystem level mechanical and electrical tests on the Orion Spacecraft and test articles.
Understand the Orion Spacecraft assembly, integration, and test flow and the associated processes including test execution, anomaly resolution, and paper closure.

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 – $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
