Job Description
JOB DUTIES
Develop and implement equipment management plans, including routine maintenance, servicing, repairs and upgrades.
Ensure all equipment undergoes regular inspections and maintenance as scheduled to guarantee normal operation and safe usage.
Develop spare parts procurement and spare parts management system, and update plans based on production needs and equipment usage.
Establish and maintain an equipment ledger, detailing the technical parameters, usage, and maintenance records of the equipment.
Establish organizational process assets such as equipment fixed asset cards and resume cards.
Manage equipment archives to ensure the completeness and accuracy of maintenance record.
Organize and implement training on equipment usage to enhance the equipment usage and maintenance capabilities of operators.
Develop equipment operating procedures and safety standards to ensure that operators strictly follow the procedures and standards when operating equipment.
Regularly carry out equipment safety inspections and hazard investigation, and promptly rectify any problems and hazards found.
Develop and implement equipment emergency plans to ensure rapid response and handling in case of emergencies.
Control the layout of new equipment through two-dimensional numerical simulation, optimize the layout of already put into operation equipment, and improve the efficiency of equipment and logisticsutilization.
Simulate the equipment from a three-dimensional mathematical model to clarify the equipment structure for suppliers, maintenance personnel, outsourcing personnel, etc., and reduce equipment operating costs.
Provide equipment technical support to the production department and assist in resolving equipment issues that arise during the production process.- Participate in the debugging and technical transformation of new equipment, promote equipment technology upgrading and innovation.- Oversee team of maintenance technicians.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldTwo years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering-related occupation.
Experience with Mechanical drawing and design using CAD Software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or PTC Creo for designing and modeling mechanical components and systems.
Experience with Stress analysis and thermal analysis in design and evaluation of mechanical systems.
Experience with Electromechanical transmission control systemsExperience with Mold design and manufacture for manufacturing processExperience with Mold flow analysis to optimize mold designExperience with RandD projects to innovate and improve mechanical systems and processes.
Experience or knowledge with Programming languages like MATLAB, Python, C++, or Java for developing simulations, control systems, and automation processes.
