Learn more about Kemira at www.kemira.com/careers. We are now seeking a Senior Specialist, Equipment and Digital Solutions, P&HS, NA to join the Packaging and Hygiene Solutions team in North America. The focus of this position will be to support both the chemical equipment and digital solutions devices for the commercial team. This will be a remote position, preferably in the Midwest or Eastern US.
The position responsibilities include:
Interface with Kemira’s Commercial team to provide in-field support for our chemical equipment and control and monitoring devices, including installation, real time troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
Coordinate with our key suppliers system design changes to make our equipment safer, easier to use, more reliable, and best in class.
Support Kemira’s digital initiatives with respect to implementing, maintaining, and repairing connectivity of Kemira equipment with our KemConnect IoT platform.
Develop installation, operation, and maintenance manuals for Kemira equipment.
Develop and refine best practices guidelines for Kemira equipment.
Support the development of a new asset tracking system for Kemira equipment.
Develop training materials and support equipment training for our commercial team.
Comply with federal, state, corporate and customer health, safety and environmental policies.
Overnight travel up to 50% domestically and occasional international travel is required to support our customer demand. What you will bring to the team: A Bachelor’s or Technical Degree and/or equivalent field experience in an industrial process setting with 5 – 10 years of experience
Strong understanding of pulp and paper process chemistry; specific experience with polymer systems, ASA systems and MCA systems is a plus.
Basic mechanical skills/acumen
General knowledge of industrial equipment
Comfortable working around electrical panels
